What's the Best New Way to Reach Busy, Affluent Adults With a
Message They Can't Ignore? MIAMI, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Students
at the country's premier advertising college are learning how to do
just that as they participate in a creative assignment to develop
advertising and promotional communications delivered directly into
the bedrooms and closets of affluent adults each morning. This
special assignment will introduce students from the prestigious
Miami Ad School to Impact Hangers(TM) - an innovative new, patent
pending shirt hanger working overtime as a four color, in-home
billboard, with promotional coupons! (Photo:

will develop an integrated national campaign using Hanger Network's
core capabilities: advertising, promotional couponing and product
sampling for distribution through its proprietary national network
of 35,000 dry cleaners. Students will be judged on overall
creativity and effectiveness. Wire shirt hangers, notorious for
being hard to recycle, are imported mainly from China, and sit in
U.S. landfills after they are thrown out. Hanger Network is
replacing these wire hangers with a domestic, patent-pending
product called Impact Hangers, developed in conjunction with
Smurfit Stone Container Corporation (NASDAQ:SSCC). In addition to
being superior in strength and durability, they are eco-friendly
and recyclable because they are actually made from a special
recycled paper recipe. In the recent Gunn Report, Miami Ad School
won 4 of the top 5 awards for student campaigns and in their list
of top advertising colleges in the world, 4 of the top 10 are Miami
Ad School locations. "Our students are learning how to leverage the
unique capabilities of targeted alternative media. Reaching a
consumer in the privacy of one's bedroom during their morning
routine is an exciting creative opportunity", said Pippa Seichrist,
President of Miami Ad School. Launched regionally in 2005 with Blue
Chip marketers including L'Oreal, Bose and Dunkin Donuts, Hanger
Network In-Home Media has established national distribution with a
wide range of retail, apparel, packaged and consumer good clients.
"A medium this innovative deserves the best and most creative minds
to take full advantage of our ability to reach consumers when and
where messages are most relevant and motivating", said Bob Kantor.
"These students continue to prove that they are among the brightest
and most creative - we're excited to have them on our team". Hanger
Network will provide a grant for a semester's free tuition to the
winning campaign/students. The best campaigns will be produced and
available for viewing on HangerNetwork.com and MiamiAdSchool.com.
