FRANKFURT (AFX) - Porsche AG chief executive Wendelin Wiedeking said
Volkswagen AG is not only in need of managing its costs structure better but
must also improve its model portfolio, he said in an interview with Auto
Zeitung.
Wiedeking, whose company is VW's biggest shareholder, said he believes VW
has already set the course for both and is now on the right track to recovery.
Wiedeking also said that Porsche is now negotiating with VW regarding
building parts of Porsche's new model series Panamera at VW.
"We are negotiating with VW. But we are also in talks with other potential
partners," he added.
